MCS was formed in 1988 by Director Steve Marsden and the business has changed and adapted well over the years, remaining at the forefront of IT & telecommunication in an ever-changing industry. The business has earned an excellent reputation in the North West and further afield, which is built on trust and honesty.
Originally formed to sell mainframe computers (and hence our name of Mainframe Computer Services Group Limited!), over time the business transitioned to IT support services, supporting clients throughout the North West and expanding our team to include new technical departments and combatting the demand for our IT services.
As our client base grew and with the advancement of technology, MCS began supplying and installing telephone systems as part of our offering. Having always had an involvement with networking and comms, it made sense to also supply telephone systems so our clients had one company managing all of their services collectively.
In more recent years, the expansion of the business has continued, with constant new service offerings such as Microsoft 365, moving in to larger premises to accommodate our growing team and the transition to managed IT services. The company remains absolutely dedicated to providing a 5-star service and by remaining at the forefront of technology, we’re certain we can continue doing so.
