Location: Burscough - Department: Office Support

We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join the MCS team. The opportunity will involve working from our office in Burscough to handle telephone calls from clients and help with general administration tasks. The ideal candidate will conduct themselves in a professional manner and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must have proven experience in delivering high quality service and support in the following areas:

  • Answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate department within MCS.
  • Creating and building relationships with new and existing customers whether it be over the phone or in person.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Literate in Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / and general computer literacy.
  • Working alongside the office management to arrange the technical departments schedules.
  • Able to work on own initiative and also work effectively within a team.
The successful candidate will also display the following qualities:
  • Experience of working in environments involving high levels of customer care and dealing with customer queries.
  • Previous experience working in a Receptionist or Personal Assistant/Secretary role is preferred.
  • High organizational skills and good attention to detail.

  • Installing, supporting and resolving issues of Windows Server networks, PCs, Printers, Anti Virus Software, Backup Devices, Switches and Routers.

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, customer focused and commercially aware.
