Account Manager

 

Responsibilities

As an account manager you will be responsible for looking after a bank of clients to ensure they’re receiving a good service and we’re supplying as many relevant services to the client as possible. You will also be the central point of contact for the clients and liaising with departments within the business to ensure that their queries are resolved. The account manager role will see you supported by our technical team who will assist in building solutions and proposal for clients.

You will be expected to visit customer site up to four times per year on a quarterly basis, for account management meetings to review the systems and provide proposals for any upgrades or new services.

 

Daily Activities

-     Complete quarterly account reviews (onsite or via Teams) with clients to evaluate their satisfaction levels, address any concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

-      Building a strong relationship with your clients through proactive support.

-      Providing sales presentations to clients for our services.

-      Generating and providing quotations.

-      Managing a variety of queries for clients and directing them to the correct departments within the business.

-      Learning our latest products and services with the intent to upsell to our clients.

-      Handing over any project work to the projects team.

-     Coordinate with internal teams, such as technical support, to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve any client issues.

-     Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitors' offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.

-     Assist clients in identifying their IT needs and propose suitable solutions based on their requirements and budget.

-     Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, project details, and account information in the CRM system.

-     Participate in internal meetings, sharing client feedback to help improve the company's offerings and strategies.

Experience

-      A preference of 24 months working in a sales based role although all applicants will be considered.

-      Experience working in an IT environment, with an understanding of IT support, Microsoft 365, IT networking and telephony.

-     Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

-     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-     Proficient in contract management and negotiation.

-     Ability to handle escalations and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.

-     Proficiency in CRM software and account management tools.

-     Ability to conduct presentations and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical parties.
